Lebanon for Development plans to launch in 2024, two other project under its “Clean Green Lebanon Initiative” to help alleviate the urgent and ongoing power generation crisis that Lebanon and its people are witnessing and suffering from and which needs to be addressed imperatively in a systematic manner.
These 2 projects shall cover respectively the two following scopes of work:
1. lighting tunnels all over Lebanon, as need be, on solar energy to ensure the safety of drivers and mitigate the deadly accidents that are occurring in these tunnels, due to the lack of adequate sustained electrical power, in close collaboration and coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and the respective municipalities/union of municipalities
2. designing and implementing adapted housing/residential and commercial solar systems’ units, portable and permanent as need be, to answer the needs of all Lebanese citizens interested in ensuring basic sustained low-cost electrical and power generation
